FCW News – 12/01/05

Well with all the news regarding our show at the Walsall Town Hall on March 18th, we need to get back on track with news regarding our first show of 2005.

Before we do though, we can now announce that Chad Collyer has been added to the March 18th show alongside Chris Daniels and Sonjay Dutt. Suffering a defeat in his FCW debut against Rob Hunter at “November Reign”, Chad is itching to get back into FCW competition again.

Now onto “Back To The Future II” news……

The Tag-Team Tournament gets underway with Devil’s Advocate taking on Title favourites The Party Boys, and The British Connection taking on PL4Y members A-Star Athlete and “Tomcat” Kevin O’Neil. Anyone that has been following the FCW Tag division over the last few months will know that this is certainly going to be a great tourney, not forgetting that Swift Justice and the team of Cameron Knite/Danny Devine has also been added. The other 2nd two semi-final matches will take place at “Reckless Abandon” on February 27th, and there’s two teams that have yet to be announced!

The FCW Champion – Laken Xander will put his belt on the line against the #1 Contender – the high flying sensation – Spud. This will be the first 1 on 1 encounter between these two fan favourites. Spud has made great strides in 2004, and looks to add some gold around his waist. Meanwhile, Laken has been beating everyone in his path, and in March he is looking forward to travelling to Holland to defend the belt. Should he lose the belt to Spud, then Spud will take his place.

Two new matches signed today will see the returning Spindoctor taking on one of “Desirable” Danny D’s clients – Marc Hogan. The Spindoctor hasn’t been seen in FCW since he suffered a knee injury at the hands of Kevin O’Neil and will have his work cut out against the much larger Marc Hogan.

In a 3 Way Dance, “The Big City Killer” Morales will take on Danny Devine and one half of Swift Justice – Falcon. At the past few shows Morales has been victorious in matches against Cameron Knite, so his tag partner Danny Devine requested a match against Morales on January 30th. Falcon is still upset at his inability to wrestle the FCW Title from Laken last month, and upon hearing this match Falcon wanted in. Falcon sees that there is a chance that Swift Justice will be facing Danny and Cameron in the Tag Team semi-finals next month, and this is the perfect opportunity to take Danny out of commision.

Speaking of Cameron Knite, he will be joining Laken Xander in his trip to Holland’s DCW on Sunday March 20th. We wish them both the best of luck.
