This week’s Raw came from Penn State University, PA. Here is all the happenings and gossip:
1. Trish Stratus retained the Women’s Title in a triple threat match over Molly Holly and Victoria.
– Triple H and Ric Flair discussed how great it was that Batista had to be going to Smackdown! following No Way Out.
2. Chris Jericho beat Simon Dean by submission with the Walls of Jericho.
– Long said that Batista will surely be coming to Smackdown!; Shawn Michaels challenged Kurt Angle to a WrestleMania match.
3. Kane dfeated Tyson Tomko.
– Chris Masters arrived at the arena.
4. Shawn Michales and Randy Orton beat Edge and Christian.
5. Chris Masters hammered Steven Richards.
6. Gene Snitsky beat Shelton Benjamin by DQ.
– Backstage Triple H admitted that it was he who had put the Smackdown! footage up and tried running down Dave Batista with JBL’s limo.
– Ric Flair said he was shocked at this, but told HHH that he was indeed the cerebral assassin and Evolution rules.
– Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long make their way out to the ring, followed by Batista and Evolution (at this stage Batista doesn’t know it’s HHH as he was late to the arena). Batista looked as if he was going to Smackdown! before powerbombing HHH through a table and signing with Raw.
