NWA-UK Hammerlock Champion JOHNNY MOSS will make his first IWF appearance as he faces two-time IWF Tag Team Champion YOUNGSTA. This match will be a great opportunity for Youngsta to prove himself against the best that the UK has to offer and will have to put his recent leg injury to the back of his mind if he is to stand any chance against ‘The Vigilante’. Moss’s motivation for coming to the IWF is not known although he has stated that this is not a one off appearance and it is thought that he may be coming into the company with one eye on the IWF Championship currently held by Jimmy Blade.

Former IWF Champion ASSASSIN spent the summer of 2004 embroiled in a stunning set of matches with ‘GOLDEN BOY’ CAMERON KNITE over the IWF title. Despite some incredible performances, Knite was not able to defeat the then champion. In November, Assassin’s interference cost The Golden Boy victory against Liam ‘The Player’ Atkinson after which Knite demanded one more match with his nemesis. This match will take place on March 5th.  However, a third competitor has been added to the bout in the form of SCOTTY HEX. Hex has been both a partner and rival of Knite in the past and may well hold the key to the final outcome to this epic feud.

IWF Champion JIMMY BLADE was scheduled to defend against Lee Kyle until IWF owner Eric Scarboro declared that Kyle had obtained the title shot by illegal means and stripped him of his number one contendership (Kyle had attacked Blade and signed the contract for him.).  As a result, Blade will make his second IWF title defence against NICK DAMOCLES. Damocles faces a massive step-up in class as, although he is considered a future IWF main eventer, he only made his debut in September.  Nevertheless, Damocles has the ability to take the champion to the limit and is one of the few IWF stars who can match power with Blade. Oh yes, as a result of losing to Jed Masters in December, Damocles will have to wrestle the biggest match of his career in a dress!

IWF Tag Team Champions HARRY PAIN and CHRIS PRIME were scheduled to defend their belts against the talented masked duo of EL LIGERO and LITTLE DRAGON. Unfortunately, Prime is currently in Australia and will remain there until September. Rather than strip Pain of the title, he has been given the opportunity to find a new partner and he and his mentor Lee Kyle have been overheard discussing a number of possibilities. They had better make their decision quickly because if no partner is found by Saturday, Pain will have to defend the belt by himself.

LIAM ‘THE PLAYER’ ATKINSON has returned to form with a vengeance as of late after a lengthy losing streak and has challenged SHAUN AVERY to a one-on-one contest. These two have similar styles with both men able to call upon a wide variety of strikes and submission holds. Both men have a legitimate claim to be the number one contender to the IWF Championship and whoever gets his hand raised at the end of this one could rocket straight into the main event scene in the IWF.

No longer the number one contender, LEE KYLE is in a huff. He emailed me the following:

I’m undecided as to whether or not I will be at the show on 5th March as I have well and truly run out of patience with the company. The only thing that makes me want to go is seeing Harry Pain defend the tag team gold.  Eric Scarboro is going to have to beg me if he wants me on the card.  March 5th was going to be the night when I took the IWF title home to Jarrow and no matter how many excuses Scarboro and Blade give for me not getting my title shot, the fact of the matter is that I am being denied my chance because they both know one thing. That if I were to meet Blade with his title on the line then I would be the IWF Champion, and that thought terrifies them.

‘The Man That Gravity Forgot’ PAC is booked to appear. He does not have an opponent as of yet but expect fireworks when this incredible athlete gets in the ring.

MAX HEAT will put his Junior Academy Championship on the line against on half of ‘The Wright Stuff’ JORDAN WRIGHT. The IWF Junior Academy has improved immensely over the past year and consistently produces some excellent matches. Expect Jordan, who will be accompanied by his brother Joey, to attempt to ground the arrogant champion as he attempts to cement his position as one of the future stars of the IWF.

Also scheduled to appear is BOOGIE KNIGHTS who has become incredibly popular over recent months as his impressions of other wrestlers have really caught the imaginations of IWF fans. One thing Knights really needs is a win, as until he starts racking up victories he will never be viewed as anything other than light relief.

Scottish Junior Champion BILLY GRANGE is set to make his IWF debut and has all the credentials to make an impact in the IWF.

The IWF Awards 2004 will be presented following the show, all fans are invited to stay behind and watch the ceremony.

A selection of IWF videos will be for sale on the night, costing £5 each.
