FCW News Update

Here is the latest news from the FCW Office.

Firstly for this update we will start with Jack Storm. As punishment for his actions last Sunday, FCW were contemplating a 90 day ban for Jack. However we think that this is going to be a much better option. Future Championship Wrestling has put Jack against a far more experienced US star in an attempt to humiliate and embarrass him. “Sadistic” jack Storm will have to face NWA-TNA star “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels.

A couple of stipulations have been added to this match –

Should Jack Storm somehow manage to get a victory over “The Fallen Angel”, then Jack Storm will be allowed to stay in FCW with no repurcusions for his actions. However, should Jack lose, then he will still be allowed to stay in FCW. Except if he does lose, then for the next 3 months in FCW,  Jack Storm will have to wrestle in a dress!!

Laken Xander overcame the odds at “Reckless Abandon” in his 3 Way Title defense. Laken won his match against PL4Y members – A-Star Athlete and “Tomcat” Kevin O’Neil via a disqualification when Innocence sensing a victory for Laken hit him with the title belt. During the match Laken actually tapped out when both A-Star and O’Neil applied a submission move on him at the same time. However the referee didn’t see this and the match continued. After the match had ended Rob Hunter came from the back and all 3 members of PL4Y attacked a prone Laken. Rob, Kev and A-Star all then grabbed the belt, claiming that they should be the champion. Is their dissention brewing within PL4Y?

On March 20th, Laken will be going to DCW in Holland, where he will defend his FCW Title against Kevin O’Neil. Also on the show, FCW’s Cameron Knite will team with Chris Wylde and they will take on The Young Offenders.

In the FCW Tag Team Tournament Quarter Finals. Swift Justice overcame the popular duo of Danny Devine and “Golden Boy” Cameron Knite. In the other Quarter Final – “The Big City Killer” Morales and “Sensation Of The Nation” Rob Hunter (replacing an injured Marc Hogan) were defeated by Spud and his mystery partner. Spud claimed that he couldn’t find anyone in the UK that he wanted to tag with so he sought elsewhere. he then announced that his tag partner would be the returning RoH star – Chad Collyer.

Swift Justice will now face The British Connection, and the team of Spud/Chad Collyer will battle Devil’s Advocate in the Semi-Finals of the FCW Tag Team Tournament.

Now onto some sad news. It is with much regret that FCW have had to cancel their scheduled show “Crash Landing”, that was due to take place in Nottingham on March 25th. This is beyond the control of FCW, everyone that has bought their tickets through Midland Box Office will be receiving refunds shortly.

Look for more matches to be announced in the next week for our big show at Walsall Town Hall on Friday March 18th.

Dragon Phoenix UPDATE
For those of you who were not in attendance at “Reckless Abandon”, count yourselves lucky, for those that were, FCW would like to apologise for the actions of Jack Storm.
We here at FCW knew that by signing a contract for Jack and Phoenix to fight in a “No DQ” match, we were going to be putting both mens health on the line. But we didn’t think it would go as far as it did.

Dragon took a beating throughout the match up, but somehow managed to get the pinfall on the “Sadistic” one. This just made Jack flip, after a few chair shots Jack delivered his signature “Cradle Piledriver” onto a steel chair. A group of fan favourites came out to stop the carnage but the damage was already done.

Dragon Phoenix was taken to the nearby Russels Hall hospital where he is still resting.

He has suffered a concussion, a deep cut just above his left ear and a torn rotator cuff. It is expected that he will miss at least 5 months of FCW action.

Everyone here at FCW send Dragon Phoenix our best wishes and hope he makes a complete and successful recovery. If you would like to send Dragon Phoenix a get well message email – GET WELL DRAGON and we will pass them all on to him.

FCW will punish Jack Storm for his actions on Sunday, his match for “Walsall Town Brawl” will be announced on Friday evening.
