UKPW Rumble to decide first ever UKPW Champion
Since it was announced that the very first UKPW Champion would be crowned on April 29th, UKPW Superstars have anxiously awaited a decision on how the championship will be decided and just who will be eligible to compete for this coveted title. The decision has now been made and it can be revealed that on the biggest night in UKPW history, a UKPW Rumble will take place in which the final two participants will be declared joint winners. Those two Superstars will then square off in a one fall, singles contest immediately following the Rumble. The winner of that contest will be declared the very first UKPW Champion.
The first Superstars to be announced for the UKPW Rumble are UKPW’s number one ranked Superstar, Chris Wyld, ‘The Atomic Ant’ Anton Green and Ethan ‘The Heat’ Hayze.
More names will be announced in the coming weeks as well as an important decision on whether to sanction a singles match between Chris Wyld and Ethan Hayze in Holbury. The rematch between these two athletes was originally intended to take place at this very event but with Ethan Hayze competing for both the UKPW Championship and the Tag Team titles, a match of such magnitude would drastically affect his chance of walking out with the strap(s) on April 29th. Therefore, the match will be taken under advisement and a decision will be made shortly.
