Interface

Silvervision seems to be using a standard PSP interface, which defines a background, a still shot of the wrestler, some music and a montage video to show the viewer what they are getting themselves into. Works well!

Highs and Lows

Wow! Now this is one history of a wrestler, part “shoot” Interview, part WWE style eulogy interviews.

Jake the Snake Roberts tells us about his start in life and his career and does so in the particular style that epitomised him as one of the greatest wrestling orators of his time. He tells us about his life on an almost unbearably personal level and does so with a sense of dignity that is rarely seen.

I am really, really blown away by this honest and upbeat trek through the history of one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Don’t believe me? Take a look for yourself, the whole UMD brings a man who has really been to hell and back, then back to hell and back again!

I think the most important part of this UMD is the discussion on the DDT, there is no more Damien’s Dinner Time nonsense, look it says on the UMD, the DDT was named after the poison. All smart arses can now slink back to their caves! The truth has been outed! Official.

You know, I wish there was something bad to say about this UMD, but there isn’t, there really isn’t, it is an interesting journey and one you will most likely come back to.

I think if I’m going to be pushed, the montageness of the production and lack of wrestling bouts might put off a few.

This is an essential buy for any PSP-owning wrestling fan!

Impressively packed UMD full of essential wrestling knowledge and history, this will keep you fixed on your little black muck magnet all the way through that train journey. You will not want to put it down!
