WWE: More Eddie Tributes, RAW Rating, Belt Auction & Kerwin Character Dropped

– WWE have posted a article by Jim Ross on WWE.com in which he discusses his relationship and memories of Eddie, he also apologises for not being able to be part of the tribute Monday night.

WWE has also posted a number of additional video testimonials from WWE talent and backstage officials commenting on the passing of Eddie Guerrero, these include testimonials from Dean Malenko, William Regal, Eric Bischoff, Candice Michelle, Bob Orton, Vito, Daivari, Gerald Brisco, Kurt Angle, Trish Stratus, Matt Hardy, JBL, Teddy Long, Christy Hemme, Booker T, Sharmell, Shelton Benjamin, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Michael Hayes, Orlando Jordan, Steve Keirn, Val Venis, Ted DiBiase, and Mickie Jay.

– Lance Storm has written about Eddie on his official website, he notes that while they were not close, he greatly respected Eddie’s work. He also tells a story of a house show where, during the opening match, he was told by Vince McMahon that he wanted to watch Storm wrestle Guerrero in the second match tonight. Storm had to rush to change out of his street clothes, get dressed in his tights, rush to put something together with Guerrero and feel the rest of their 20-minute match in the ring

– The Eddie Guerrero tribute edition of Raw did a strong 4.5 cable rating, with a 6.6 share.  The show did hours of 4.6 and 4.4

– WWE has also put up an autographed WWE Championship Replica Belt on their auction site, the current bid is at $822.50, and the auction ends on December 2nd.

– WWE has removed the Kerwin White bio from WWE.com, replacing it with a bio for Chavo Guerrero which includes older pictures of a black-haired, bearded Chavo.

In July of this year Chavo had been repackaged with the “Kerwin White” character, with Chavo denouncing his Hispanic Heritage and denying his past as a Guerrero.
