Earlier today WWE.com posted that 2004 Diva Search Winner Christy Hemme and they had “come to terms on her release.”, it has been reported by PWInsider that this was the company’s decision not Christy’s.
Christy had just relocated to Kentucky to begin training full time at the WWE’s developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling. According to sources Christy’s scheduled overseas appearance with Batista in New Zealand was cancelled late last week, and she received a call this morning telling her she was being let go.
Many people in the WWE are said to be surprised at the decision as Christy had a reputation for wanting to learn and improve inside the ring.
There is no comment on Christy’s official website, although as posted on Wrestling101 earlier she had posted saying that she was going down to OVW to train.
