TNA: Impact Rating, Timeslot Change, PPV Surprise

– TNA Impact scored a 0.8 for Saturdays show on SpikeTV, which is on level with the average. However, the show had the second highest viewership in its history, pulling a 0.9 in the 18-49 demograph.

– This weeks Impact will show on Thursday instead of Saturday due to the Video Game Awards. Christian Cage makes his TNA in-ring debut against Bobby Roode, and Bobby “The Brain” Heenan will be appearing with Baseball star AJ Pierzynski.

– All PPV advertisements on TNAWrestling.com are now hard-selling a major announcement regarding the face of TNA changing forever. As hard as it is for me not to joke about the possibility of Dixie Carter going for plastic surgery, there is currently no real forerunning contender for what the surprise could be. Speculation includes the debut of a new star, the announcement of a better timeslot (or a two-hour slot) and the possibility of running house shows.
