MEW: Feb 25th In Newcastle Feat. Jindrak, Honky Tonk & More

Main Event Wrestling UK is delighted to announce our second major show to hit Newcastle upon Tyne on Saturday 25th February. The event is to be held at the historic Journal Tyne Theatre in the centre of the city, and tickets will officially go on sale next week. In the meantime you can pre-book your tickets by visiting Newcastle Wrestling Store in Newgate Shopping Centre, or by calling 0191 230 3894.
Much like our first show Northern Bash, we will be mixing the best of British talent, along side major stars from America. Those signed to appear include:

Shark Boy: A star in TNA’s X-Division, Shark Boy is one of the most exciting cruiserweight wrestlers in the States. He has contested some fine encounters with the likes of Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels this year, and after seeing MEW’s six man cruiserweight challenge, demanded the opportunity to test himself against the best light heavyweights Britain has to offer.

Mark Jindrack: A former stand-out star with the WWE and WCW, Jindrack has been a major part of recent New Japan tours, and now looks to make his mark in England. The former tag team champion has been involved in a series of high profile feuds with the likes of the Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero. The “Reflection of Perfection” now aims to knock down any wrestler that stands in his way.

Honky Tonk Man: A true legend in wrestling, Honky was seen and done it all, with the undoubted pinnacle in a storied career being that of a record breaking WWE Intercontinental title run. With his flamboyant persona, and outspoken views, Honky Tonk Man courts controversy wherever he goes, not least on his website which is amongst the most visited wrestling sites.

The full card for the show will be announced in the New Year to mark the opening of our new website, with tickets going on sale through Ticketmaster, Newcastle Virgin Megastore, and the Tyne Theatre itself next week. As above, Newcastle Wrestling Store will also be selling both pre-sale tickets, and tickets for the show itself.

Ticket prices:

£30 for front row (these tickets are very limited)
£15 for Adult general admission
£12 for aged 13 and under OPENING SOON
