British Wrestling Show In Boston On January 15th

The following is taken from a post on the TWO UK Scene Fourm:

A professional wrestling spectacular takes place Sunday 15th of January at the Princess Royal Arena, Boston, Lincolnshire as Boston’s best take on the rest of the world.
Doors open at 7.00 PM and bell time is at 07.15 PM.
All matches will be decided on the night by team captains, and the wrestlers announced so far are………….

Team World

Blondie Barratt – Wrestling legend Blondie Barratt returns to Boston after a two and a half year absence from the town. He will captain a team which is hell-bent on showing that Boston’s wrestlers are a bunch of nobodies trying to make themselves some bodies.

S C Supreme – The Spalding hard man will come back to Boston, a town in which he is well and truly hated after his battles with the Lincs Effect and more recently Dale Broughton. Supreme says he will take on any comers, and defeat them with ease.

Special Agent – The former EAW Champion now lives in Leverton, just outside Boston, and says that moving to the Boston area was the worst thing he has ever done. “Boston is a small, boring, smelly little hellhole, and its pathetic excuses for wrestlers are prime examples of why Boston is a town full of failures,” claims Special Agent. The Boston wrestlers are determined to make him eat those words, with all reportedly livid about those remarks.

Team Boston

Black Ice – After 6 months out of wrestling Black Ice will return to the ring to defend his hometowns honour. He has ruled out the chance of him being ring rusty, and has thrown him self into training for this bout.

Rapid – Former NBW Tag Champion (with Black Ice) will stand up for Boston and do battle in front of his hometown fans once more. The always popular Rapid has said that he would go through hell and high water for a Boston victory, and that nothing will stop the hometown team coming out on top.

Maddog Manning – The popular and flamboyant Bostonian will be in action and is wanting to get his hands on Blondie Barratt. As team Captain he says “all people are proud of their hometown, and I am going to try and give Boston something back. My opposite number, Blondie Barratt is a legend on the British scene, and it would be a great honour if we could beat a team led by him.”

Dale Broughton – The hometown hero and most popular wrestler from Boston will be in action yet again. He vows to ensure a Team Boston win, and wants to get his hands on S C Supreme who he says cheated him out of a victory in their last confrontation.
