Other News

At ‘Violent Night’ last month, FCW held an ‘Over The Top Battle Royale’ featuring 10 student from the FCW training school. A lot was at stake going into the match as the winner would receive a place on the full roster. After 9 men went over the top rope, ‘Brutal’ Brett Banner was last man standing. Check out the profiles page for a lowdown on Mr Banner.

FCW Officials were impressed with the performances of the trainees. So much so, that they have just announced that on Friday 17th March at The Saddlers Club in Walsall, there will be a ‘Trainee Tag Match’ featuring four trainees from the school.

One strange incident in that Battle Royale, featured the referee for the bout Ross Taylor and the masked ‘Zoel Power’. During the match Zoel Power was thrown out of the ring, but NOT over the top rope! Even so, Ross ordered Zoel back to the dressing room but not before reeling from a forearm to the face from the mysterious masked star.

‘Head referee’ Joel Allen is now looking at footage from the event, to see what happened.

– The popular team of Laken Xander and A-Star Athlete have been bombarding FCW Commissioner ‘Desirable’ Danny D with phonecalls this week demanding a Tag Team Title shot. After an impressive victory over Kevin O’Neil and Celt Kennedy last month, they feel they have what it takes to take the gold from new champions Marc Hogan and Blade.

– Speaking of the FCW Tag Team Titles, the former champions ‘The British Connection’ are no more. Due to recent actions by John Kirkham, FCW Officials had no alternative but to end their 3-year relationship with the man known to FCW fans as GBH.
