IPW-UK: March 19th "Unfinished Business" Announced

PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

IPW:UK “Unfinished Business” On Sunday March 19th 2006 – FROM THE ORPINGTON HALLS!

» As many people had noticed, at the back end of 2005 we at IPW put up a note on our events section with dates for our first three shows of 2006. These being No Escape on January 28th, A Taste of IPW on February 18th, and Unfinished Business on March 19th. The third of these, Unfinished Business on March 19th, was listed as a ‘SuperShow’.

After much thought and discussion both between wrestlers and other staff, as well as our home venue the Orpington Halls, IPW:UK can proudly say today that Unfinished Business, the show that promises to be the biggest for the promotion yet, will emanate from The Orpington Halls!! Fans were worried that they wouldn’t be able to find whatever new venue we decided to go to; that will now not be a problem.

In addition, even with IPW:UK sure to put on one of its best ever cards of top wrestling action, ticket prices will NOT increase. No matter who is added to the card, be they British or otherwise, tickets will still be available at just £12 for adults, £6 for children, and £30 for a family of four. Ringside will also be available at the usual price of £20 (no concessions).

More information will be announced at No Escape on January 28th, but we here at International Pro Wrestling wanted to put at ease any fears of price hikes or massive location changes for what will surely be the 3rd in a series of top-of-the-range shows from IPW:UK in 2006.

First Ever IPW:UK Referee Training Seminar!

» Ever wanted to be involved in the wrestling business, but not really sure on how to go about it? There are many ways to be involved. Regional promoting is an option that some take, training to become a wrestler is another much trickier task with a huge failure rate. Another vital part of any wrestling event is the referee.

That’s why IPW:UK plans to stage it’s first ever training seminar, one un the unique field of refereeing, for Sunday March 19th 2006, at the Orpington Halls. The seminar, which would last for 3 hours, would cost £15, will go ahead if there is enough demand for it. Therefore if you have even the least interest, please register this interest over at the IPW:UK forums (ipwuk.com/forums). Please include a contact email address, and all applicants will be emailed full information.

Any top prospects will potentially be offered the opportunity referee a match (or matches) for IPW:UK in 2006. People on the seminar receive discounted entry into the evening’s “Unfinished Business” show. For more information, head over to the IPW:UK fan forum, or email Daniel Edler at daniel@ipwuk.com.
