– At last night’s OVW taping (results can be found on the newsboard) Matt Cappotelli handed the OVW Title to Danny Davis, he went on to talk about the malignant brain tumour found a few weeks back, getting chemotherapy, having brain surgery and then he prayed with the audience.
All the wrestlers (heels and babyfaces) surrounded the ring during his speech, after he finished Johnny Jeter broke character to hug Cappotelli. After the show Cappotelli stood at the door and hugged every single crowd member, he was there until after Midnight (his speech ended at 9:45). He prayed with people, shook hands, hugged and took pictures.
