Former British wrestler Jackie Pallo has died from cancer aged 80.
His son, Jackie Junior, who fought in a tag team with his dad, said: “He was remarkably strong. He was a bombastic character right to the end.”
Reg Gutteridge, for years the voice of British wrestling and a cousin of Pallo, added: “He was one of the big names, a great performer. He was a useful amateur boxer, but he was an old ham at heart.”
He is survived by wife Trixie.
