IPW:UK: Flaming Red Missing, Injury News & More

The following is taken from the IPW:UK website:

PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

Flaming Red – Flaming Missing, More Like!

» When the Chav Army music was tee’d up and hit this past Saturday night, many people inside of the Orpington Hall who have been fans of IPW:UK for a long period, would have thought that Flaming Red was about to walk out from the curtain. But alas, it wasn’t to be – a message was, though, passed from the leader of the Chav Army – and then one passed back.

After a near ten-on-one attack on Battalion that lasted several minutes, the numbers game finally became too much for the monster from East Ham. He was then handcuffed to the ring, while his trademark towel was taken and destroyed by the remaining chavs. Flaming Red’s message had been sent.

An enraged Battalion then took out his frustration on the unlucky chav who had been given guard duty on the man in chains, having literally BROKEN out of the handcuffs! After some devastating power moves, Battalion returned to the ring and not before delivering two massive chair shots, then applied a submission manoeuvre that saw the nameless chav’s leg bend in a direction the human body simply isn’t designed to go.

But where do things go from here? Battalion’s match for March 19th at Unfinished Business is simply listed as “Battalion vs. The Chav Army”. Does that mean that we’re going to see another ten on one, this time in a sanctioned tag environment? Former members like the Chavette, Lil G, Bandit, Nixon and of course Flaming Red – will they be in attendance?

After being left in the lurch back on September 25th, and now being attacked gang-style on February 18th, is the third time a charm for Battalion, or will even his raw strength be too little to take out whoever is man enough to turn up to fight him?

Lynn Recovered, Kincaide Rehabbing & More

» Some late injury updates from the weekend. Battalion suffered five separate lacerations to the face and neck area from the beating the Chav Army put down onto him. None were deep enough to require stitches, but the big man knows he’s been in a fight.

Stevie Lynn is now back at 100% after missing this past weekend’s shows. He’s back on the trail TONIGHT as he wrestles for 3CW against Jonny Storm. We hope to have Stevie in IPW to make his in-ring debut very soon.

Leroy Kincaide also missed this past weekend’s show with a major groin injury. Kincaide was expected to miss months of ring time, but in-fact almost made it back to 100% in time for last Saturday’s show. Not wanting to risk a tear which would put him on the sidelines long term, he has instead set his sights on another high-profile match for March 19th. So impressive is his come-back from injury in such swift time, that local newspapers have asked to interview the powerhouse about the recovery, and his thoughts for the future in IPW:UK.

And finally, Kris Linnell is still working through a rib injury suffered at the hands of the Southern Alliance back in January. Linnell, now a former tag-champion, suffers from difficulty catching his breath – something that almost certainly affected him during this past weekend’s title match loss to The Untouchables.

The Kartel Call Out AK47… AND VAMPIRO!!

» That’s right! The Kartel have either been heavily in training, or have absolutely lost their minds, because it appears that for March 19th, Sha Samuels and Terry Frazier have challenged AK47 & Vampiro to a 3-on-2 handicap match!

The full video can be found here: http://www.ipwuk.com/media/kartelmessage/click.php?id=1

AK47 are considering responding in like (with a video message), but are also considering putting off their reply and taking the title re-match against The Untouchables, in a bid to win back their belts at the first possible opportunity.
