February 23rd: Prince Nana has flown the best personal trainers to Ghana to train Jimmy Rave this week as Rave prepares to challenge Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Title this Saturday in Edison, NJ at the Fourth Anniversary Show. Rave sent word that he is ready to have the match of his life and that all the work he has done in ROH since 2003 will pay off when he wins the belt on Saturday. “Unscripted II” on 2/11 saw Rave lay out Danielson with the Greetings From Ghana (also known as a Pedigree). It took Danielson a long time to get up after being hit with the move. Rave believes that if he hits Greetings From Ghana on Saturday that he will be the new ROH World Champion.

February 23rd: Samoa Joe has asked ROH Commissioner Jim Cornette to make the Jay Lethal match on Saturday under relaxed rules. Joe says he’s coming to dish out a beating and he doesn’t want to risk getting disqualified. Joe wants to teach Lethal a lesson for turning on him and get a conclusive victory. Cornette has agreed as he wants to see this issue settled at the Fourth Anniversary Show in Edison, NJ.

It is time for you to put you tail between your legs, run away and disappear or you will get hurt.

February 24th: Everyone at ROH really wants to extend our deepest THANK YOU to everyone that has supported us. This Saturday is really a special birthday celebration. Each birthday is a milestone in company history and now we’ll take a quick look at how ROH has persevered and grown over the past four years and it is all because of you.

Our First Anniversary Show was a special night since it was ROH’s debut in New York City with a sellout crowd of 800 people in the historic Elk’s Lodge in Queens, NY. In the ring, it was a great show highlighted by Paul London winning a three-way over Low Ki and AJ Styles to earn an emotional title shot vs. Xavier that night. It is a show that will always be remembered for the infamous riot. While the in ring product shined, behind the scenes things were a different story. The company was struggling business wise. In fact, if Cary Silkin had not come into ROH shortly after this event we would not have even made it past the March 2003 shows. While in ring everything was great, behind the scenes ROH was in a big hole.

After another year of frustration and turmoil behind the scenes, ROH was still losing money and fighting off death when the Second Anniversary Show rolled around. Although the year between the 1st and 2nd Anniversary Shows was highly acclaimed in the ring and saw ROH evolve to the next level, business wise the company was far from a success. Things looked bright with a record crowd expected for “At Our Best” in March, but after that ROH was on shaky ground. The Second Anniversary Show saw a solid tournament to crown the first ever Pure Wrestling Champion. AJ Styles defeated Jimmy Rave, Matt Stryker and CM Punk to earn the belt in a tournament that featured a lot of great wrestling.

Shortly after the Second Anniversary Show all hell broke lose. With our backs against the wall, the ROH fans, staff and wrestlers pulled together to make 2004 a truly remarkable year. It was a year of struggle and sacrifice, but by the time the Third Anniversary rolled around ROH was standing on its feet. Not only were we standing on our feet, but we were stronger than ever. Our third year was so tumultuous that in the end our survival was even more bittersweet. The fact that we made it to our third birthday was an enormous accomplishment in itself. The business was stabilized and showing great signs of growth and that is something that every ROH fan, wrestler and staff member could take great pride in. It was still a struggle to survive, but all signs were very positive and we were no longer worried about how we would make it past March. ROH management booked three shows in a one week period and declared it the Third Anniversary Celebration Week. We needed a week to celebrate the health of the company after overcoming so much. We wanted to take the celebration to different cities. Over 2500 fans joined us for three great shows that will always standout in ROH history. The fans, the wrestlers and the staff all deserved the week long party.

Now on Saturday we will reach our fourth birthday. The past year has seen ROH grow even more and become a stable business. We have had some incredible highs and overcome some harsh obstacles, but now with your support ROH is in its best health ever. This Saturday will truly be a special night as ROH continues to grow and thrive with your support. Sure there will be obstacles in the future. Yes there will be more lows, but we will conquer them all as we always do and there will be even higher highs. With your support ROH will always be strong.

This Saturday we are going to present a show of pure ROH talent. No outside attractions, just eight ROH style matches with the talent that got us here and made this company. You better believe that these athletes are coming to give you something you’ll remember. We hope that you will join us this Saturday as we reach another milestone. You have gotten us here and we will do our best to reward you with the best show going today. As we head into tomorrow’s birthday bash, all we have to say is THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
