February 27th: Thank you to everyone who was at last Saturday’s event in Edison, NJ for making the Fourth Anniversary Show a very successful event. That show kicked off ROH’s string of milestone shows with the next one being 3/11 for the debut at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia as part of a double header with CZW. The ROH show will be first and starts at 4pm.
February 27th: ROH and CZW officials got into a very intense argument today over the actions of Chris Hero, Necro Butcher and the band of misfits they brought to the Fourth Anniversary Show. Hero and gang jumped into the ring during the BJ Whitmer vs. Christopher Daniels match resulting in a huge brawl between the CZW and ROH locker rooms. What will happen when the entire CZW locker room is in the same building as the entire ROH locker room? The 3/11 ROH event will be called “Arena Warfare” because when you walk into the building on 3/11 you are entering a war zone.
February 27th: Prince Nana is said to be very confident that Alex Shelley will win the ROH World Title from Bryan Danielson on 3/11 in Philadelphia. Nana is convinced that he knows how to beat Danielson after Jimmy Rave took the champion to the limit last Saturday. Nana is so confident that Shelley will win the belt that Shelley has already signed for his first title defense. It will be Alex Shelley vs. Christopher Daniels on 3/25 in Manhattan. If Shelley is champion, this match will be for the title. If Shelley is not champion this match will have huge ramifications on the Top 5 Rankings.
February 27th: Jay & Mark Briscoe made an immediate impact last Saturday when they returned fulltime to ROH. They made it clear that they are starting fresh in ROH and that they are out to prove they are the best tag team in the world. They already have the attention of ROH Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. The Briscoes attacked both Aries and Strong throughout the night including a vicious Spike Jay-Driller on Strong at the end of the show.
