MAY’S “KNOW YOUR ENEMY” WEEKEND TO FEATURE 1PW WORLD TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT
Months of speculation and anticipation led up to the crowning last weekend of 1PW’s first-ever World Heavyweight Champion, “The Monster” ABYSS. Now, 1PW turns its attention to its growing tag team scene with the 8-team, 2-night World Tag Title Tournament. Six teams have already been announced for competition:
~THE ROTTWEILERS (HOMICIDE and RICKY REYES)
~JONNY STORM and JODY FLEISCH
~THE J.O.B. SQUAD (AL SNOW and THE BLUE MEANIE)
~GENERATION NEXT (AUSTIN ARIES and RODERICK STRONG)
~SOUTHERN COMFORT (CHRIS HAMRICK and TRACY SMOTHERS)
~IMPACT PLAYERS (LANCE STORM and PJ “Justin Credible” POLACO
Two more teams will be announced in the coming days to complete the field of eight. Friday May 26th will feature all four matches of the opening round. Saturday May 27th will showcase both matches of the semi-finals and the tremendous final round match after which the winners receive the first ever 1PW World Tag Team title belts.
In addition, the 1PW World title will be defended which means that STERLING JAMES KEENAN and his championship monster ABYSS will be in Doncaster. Plus, the return of DOUG WILLIAMS and the debut of American cruiserweight sensation THE HUMAN TORNADO.

Over the past few months, 1PW has been pleased to hold a series of interactive FanSlam events giving fans a chance to meet and speak to their favorite stars. FanSlam will undoubtedly return in the future, but during the KNOW YOUR ENEMY weekend in May, 1PW wants to rev up the action with the debut of 1PW FIGHT CLUB.
On the afternoon of Saturday May 27th, 1PW will present a 5 match mini-show along with a star-studded Q&A session and all the autograph and merchandise booths of previous events. Tune in next week for a rundown of the matches to be featured.
Doors for 1PW FIGHT CLUB open at 11:30am. The Event itself starts at Noon. Tickets are on sale now at www.1upgames.co.uk. Reserved front row is £20. General admission is £10.
Future FIGHT CLUB events will be a chance for new talent, especially young up-and-coming British wrestlers, to showcase themselves and possibly earn a shot at the main 1PW roster.
