UK Scene #211

Hey all, the lovable Saz here bringing you a week of action, however this week it seems the action is slowing down, probably because we are heading towards Wrestlemania, what? Wrestlers are wrestling fans too? Yup!

Hey all, the lovable Saz here bringing you a week of action, however this week it seems the action is slowing down, probably because we are heading towards Wrestlemania, what? Wrestlers are wrestling fans too? Yup!

Sometimes too much, but that’s by the by.

Let’s take a look.

East

DAM have announced their next show for 21st April called “Spring Showdown 2” and this will be held at the Holt community centre in Holt, Norfolk.

Tickets are £8 Adults and £6 Children (in advance), and £10 Adults and £8 Children (on the door). Show includes the excellent UK Pitbulls and Ricky Knight.

Midlands

SCW are firmly back on their feet announcing a new show on 31st March at St. Francis Centre in Handsworth, Birmingham.

Hopefully they are now out of the pits they were in end of last year and we will get to see more of them over this year. With a new regular venue and regular talent on, things look bright!

BWA will be holding a rumble at their usual venue, the Bidds Club in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent on the 7th of April.

KSW have announced their next show “Deadly Alliance 3” on 22nd April at the new venue of Enots sports and social club, Brownsfield park, Eastern Avenue, Lichfield. They have released 100 tickets to the venue for general sale and these are expected to sell out, which is always good. This does mean though that the remaining tickets will be made available soon.

South

It’s also rumble time for the guys at ACW as they present “Over The Top 06“, which will be held on Saturday 8th April at the Luton Regional Sports Centre in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Rumbles are a good resource for letting the less experienced wrestlers have a taste of what it is like to perform in front of a crowd. It usually is good fun as well as the chaos tends to ensue.

SAS have announced their training school opening in London, training is to be taken by Jack Storn, Spud and Dave Morales, I can’t speak for Dave, but I know Spud and Jack come from a high pedigree of training tradition, plus a wealth of in ring knowledge and experience. If you are in the London area I strongly recommend you check this place out if you want to be taught properly.

Well that’s all she wrote for this week, have a good week and see you in the next!
