Another video will feature the history between Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe as they get ready to fight in three different kinds of matches this weekend. The final video has a look at the Colt Cabana vs. Homicide feud including an exclusive promo from Cabana. If you are attending this weekend’s shows make sure to check out all three videos to get the complete story behind the matches.
– Here is an updated weekend schedule. Doors on Thursday in Detroit will open at about 6:45 with the main show starting at 8pm. There will be a preshow that will feature a SHIMMER main event of Lacey & Tiana Ringer vs. Allison Danger & Shantelle Taylor. Doors will open at 6:30pm on Friday in Chicago and the show will begin at 8pm. There will be no preshow on Friday since the main show will be the longest show of the weekend. Doors will open at 5:30pm on Saturday in Chicago and the main show will start at 7:30pm. There will be a longer than usual preshow on Saturday that will start around 6pm featuring Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chad Collyer and a SHIMMER six woman tag.
– Here is the scoop on the autograph sessions. The six Dragon Gate wrestlers will be signing autographs after all three shows. Lance Storm and Jim Cornette will also be signing autographs after the 4/1 event.
– Ring Of Honor will be live on TV in Detroit on Thursday morning. You can check out Jimmy Yang, BJ Whitmer, Jimmy Jacobs and others on WJBK at around 8am on the morning show. Check WJBK.com for more info. We will have a ring set up on the streets of Detroit so check it out!!! There is no telling what might happen on live TV when Whitmer and Jacobs are together since they will be wrestling each other that night.
– There will be a lot of pride on the line on Thursday in Detroit. ROH wrestlers and Dragon Gate wrestlers will collide in three matches in a challenge series. Who is the better promotion? Many experts and insiders say that Dragon Gate is the Japanese version of ROH and that ROH is the American version of Dragon Gate. We will find out which company has the better wrestlers on Thursday with three first time matches that you will never see again. Detroit will witness Dragon Gate’s top title holder Ryo Saito vs. Jimmy Yang, a dream tag of AJ Styles & Matt Sydal vs. Dragon Kid Kid & Genki Horiguchi and a six man that could steal the weekend pitting Generation Next of Austin Aries, Roderick Strong & Jack Evans vs. Blood Generation of CIMA, Masato Yoshino & Naruki Doi. You will never get a chance to see action like this again. Even if you aren’t familiar with the Dragon Gate wrestlers you will be blown away by the unique matches and state of the art wrestling that will only take place on Thursday in Detroit. – Lance Storm has posted more on Stormwrestling.com about his match this Saturday in Chicago against Bryan Danielson. Storm has been in intensive training for this bout. If Danielson gets past Roderick Strong on Friday this will be for the World Title. Storm has made himself available for future ROH dates if he wins the title. Danielson is really looking forward to this match since he has never faced Storm before. It is a great honor that Lance Storm came out of retirement to give his first match to Bryan Danielson and it shows the respect that he has for Danielson. This will be pro wrestling as a sport at its finest on Saturday in Chicago.
– Flash Flanagan will make his ROH debut in Chicago.
