ROH: Newswire April 10th (Including Details On British Wrestler Spud’s Debut)

– Ring Of Honor has been forced to move its 6/17 event from Basketball City to our old Manhattan home of the New Yorker Hotel. Basketball City has been forced to cancel ROH for that night due to a fireman and police charity function. ROH is happy to be back in the intense atmosphere of the New Yorker to see KENTA return to action. Tickets now on sale on ROHwrestling.com, by calling 215-781-2500 and at Ticketmaster outlets.


– A big Four Corner Survival has been added to the 4/22 event in Philadelphia. It will be Jimmy Rave with Prince Nana vs. Jimmy Yang vs. Delirious vs. Jimmy Jacobs. All these men need a win in this one!!!


– Super 8 winner Davey Richards has signed a fulltime contract with Ring Of Honor. Richards is set to make his ROH debut on 4/22 in Philadelphia. He will be on almost every ROH show after that including 4/28 in Dayton and 4/29 in Cleveland. Can Richards make an impact in ROH?


– United Kingdom high-flying star Spud will make his United States debut for ROH on 4/28 in Dayton and 4/29 in Cleveland. ROH is bringing a lot of upcoming high-flyers to Ohio including Spud, Irish Airborne and Jay Fury.


– Jerrelle Clark vs. Erick Stevens tore the house down at last Saturday’s FIP show. The match will be included on the 3/31 double DVD set as a bonus.

– We will have matches for 4/22 in Philly, 4/28 in Dayton, 4/29 in Cleveland, 5/12 in Long Island (including Christian’s match) and 5/13 in New Jersey this week.
