MEW: “Back For Blood” Featuring Title Tournament & Christian Cage

Thanks to Main Event Wrestling for sending the following in:

MEW is delighted to announce our next major show to hit Newcastle upon Tyne: Back for Blood. Emanating once again from the Journal Tyne Theatre (www.tynetheatre.co.uk) on Saturday July 8th, the show will be based around a major MEW debut, and a four man tournament to crown the first ever MEW Heavyweight Champion.

Stars announced for the show so far include:

Christian Cage – Former WWE superstar, and current holder of the NWA World title, Christian makes his MEW debut at Back for Blood.

Title Tournament: Two stars have been entered into the tournament so far and they are ‘SOS’ Sheamus O’Shanunessy and making a welcome return to MEW: D’Lo Brown.

In addition to this, Back for Blood will play host to a Team MEW vs. Team Ring of Honor tag match. The captains for each team have been assigned, with MEW captained by Pac, whilst Team ROH is captained by Chad Collyer. Each captain will choose a partner in the weeks leading up to the show.

As well as the debut of Christian, and the title tournament, two further matches have been signed for the show…. Furious at his inability to take out Honky Tonk Man at Second Coming, MEW Chairman Daniel Fitch has ordered a No Holds Barred handicap match for Back for Blood, with GTS facing Fitch and his Associates, Mr A and Mr G. Plus, there will also be a welcome return for the cruiser weight invitational. Stars for this match are currently being signed by MEW officials, but if its anything like the match at Northern Bash, then fans are in for a treat.

Tickets for event are scheduled to go on sale the week beginning 24th April, with tickets priced as follows:
Upper gallery: £10
Upper circle: £15
Grand circle: £18
Stalls: £18
Front row: £25
