Norton cashes in; Title picture in chaos!
The 3CW Heavyweight Title picture was on Sunday thrown into chaos with the revelation that the “Celtic Tiger” Blake Norton has notified 3CW officials that he intends to cash in his guaranteed title shot at the Billingham Synthonia in May!!
Whilst Norton did not win the contendership eliminator on the 22nd of April, 3CW officials are aware that he does indeed have a valid contract to face the Champion on a date of his pleasing having won the Free For All earlier in the year, and with Stevie Lynn now guaranteed his rematch on the 12th, and officials, speculation has it, unable to say no to Norton, the 3CW Title picture has been thrown into disarray!
With a whole list of contenders knocking on the proverbial door the 3CW Title has never been quite as hotly contested as it is at the moment, but with this situation being what it is, word has it that officials may be preparing to do something drastic for the 12th to resolve it! ROH star Chad Collyer makes his 3CW debut!
3CW is happy to announce that the well travelled star of, amongst many others, Ring of Honor, and former trainee under the great Dean Malenko, Chad Collyer will be making his 3 Count Wrestling debut on the 12th of May in Billingham! Adding to an already stacked line-up Collyer, who will be touring in the UK throughout the summer, is set to face off against a man facing possibly the biggest singles match of his career in Darkside!
Darkside, who scored a massive pinfall over Blake Norton on route to narrowly losing out thanks to not one but THREE half nelson suplexes from Dragon Aisu in April, will certainly face a massive test of his prowess in singles competition, having come so close to major victories in not only April but also against the likes of Pac and Dan Head in recent months, and having been repeatedly denied. Collyer will no doubt be looking to leave his mark on 3CW by defeating the popular Darkside, and it’s certain to be one not to miss!
