Welcome once again to another week’s worth of UK wrestling here with your lovable host Saz, let’s take a look at what is going on in your area.

It’s been a bit of a strange week for me personally, but that’s another tenet, things have been developing nicely within the UK Scene, of which I won’t say too much here, but it’s guaranteed to knock a few noses out of joint and to bring a lot of recognition to hard working wrestlers.

Anyhoo, onto the week.

LDN Wrestling have announced details of their next show, “Ashes To Ashes” will be held on Sunday June 4th at The Kelmscott Leisure Centre in Walthamstow, London.

Currently announced matches are:

  • Project Future vs. Team Wales (Matt Vaughn & Ricky Hype)

  • Ashe (c) vs. Ross Jordan

I’ve heard a lot of things about LDN, the most common being the “second coming of FWA”, however, contrary to that belief FWA are still working fine with a new venue announced in Halesowen at the Cornbow centre.

Last time I went there I was attending a comics seminar and the place is pretty darn big!

UCW have made a few changes to their card for their show on 27th May, this now reads:

  • Lightning Lewis vs. Gangster

  • Allan Keyes vs. Ethan Skie

  • Instinct vs. Bounty Hunter vs. Justin Sayne

  • House of Pain vs. Evil Inc

  • Battle Royal Match

  • Marcus Kool vs. American All Star

  • Atom vs. James Tighe

Not a bad line up at all!

3CW have had their usual bouts of announcements, not only for their upcoming NOAH Remorse show, held at the Billingham Synthonia Social Club, Cleveland on 12th May, but also at the Quedgeley Community Centre, Gloucester on 24th June.

I won’t say anything more past that, in case I get another email saying i’m wrong, so It’s just “stick with the facts” Saz.

Midlands

LPW have come out with a string of dates for May:

* Saturday 13th May – Minworth Social Club and Institute, Sutton Coldfield, Brimingham.
* “Sheldon Showdown“- Sunday 21st May – Ivy Leaf Club, Sheldon, Birmingham.
* “Pressure Point” – Friday 26th May – Syston & District Conservative Club, Syston, Leicestershire
* Saturday 28th May – New Parks Club For Young People, New Parks, Leicester.
13th May will see the LPW debut of British Born Steel.

KSW have announced their next show named “Cruel Contentions” to be held at Enots Sports and Social club on 20th May after their very successful debut there last month.

It also heralds a number one contenders Rumble due to Sal Americana abstaining from his automatic title attempt. Sal will unfortunately be taking time off from the ring to deal with a few things that need to be dealt with.

Sal has elected King Khan to take his place in the title shot against new KSW champion Nick Mace.

FCW have taken the time to announce several shows over the next few months, these are:

*”Breaking Point” – Sunday 28th May – The Baggeridge Social Welfare Centre in Lower Gornal, West Midlands
* “Genesis” – Sunday25th June – The Baggeridge Social Welfare Centre in Lower Gornal, West Midlands
* “Summer Solstice” – Saturday 22nd July – The Haden Hill Leisure Centre, Halesowen, West Midlands

There have been few votes in from FCW fans, so make sure you vote for them in the UK Top 50 as I consider several FCW workers good enough to be in there.

In fact it goes to all of you who are fans of UK wrestling, if you don’t vote, you don’t get your say and then it is representative of those who had voted, but it would still be the official UK Scene top 50.

Of course if you don’t vote, you can’t complain can you?
