There will be two big championship matches when Friday Night SmackDown invades Albany, N.Y.
Since winning the World Championship at WrestleMania, Rey Mysterio has been on the ride of a lifetime. However, he must defend that championship this Friday night against a man he has never beaten: Mark Henry.
Last week, Henry laid out Rey’s good friend Chavo Guerrero. After two World’s Strongest Slams, Henry crushed Chavo’s back against the steel ring post. Rey knows what the World’s Strongest Man can do; is there any way he can walk out of Albany with the World Championship still around his waist?
The WWE Tag Team Championship will also be on the line when Paul London & Brian Kendrick defend their gold against the Mexicools. The challengers have scored two consecutive victories over London & Kendrick, but it seems as if Psicosis & Super Crazy aren’t quite on the same page these days. Can they hold it together and earn their first WWE gold?
Plus, Bobby Lashley is apparently not satisfied with his win over King Booker last week; he demanded another match, and General Manager Theodore Long has granted the United States Champion his wish. Who will come out on top in a rematch of last week’s hard-hitting main event?
