THE GUVNOR AND MR IPW HEAD TO NORTHALLERTON!
In exciting news, 3cw.co.uk has received the information that two iconic IPW:UK competitors will be heading North to defend the honour of their home promotion on the 25th of August.
The first of the two is the amazing young talent “Mr IPW” Ashley Reed. Ashley, one of IPW:UK’s true standout stars in it’s existance to date, has been tearing up IPW:UK rings with the likes of Paul Robinson in a renown series of matches in Orpington, and more recently actually had a shot at the 3CW Championship, falling just short in a highly impressive display against Takeshi Morishima, Kevin Steen and Pac when the latter shocked the world and took the strap. Given his previous contendership and his high profile he was an obvious choice for IPW:UK officials…
…as was the IPW:UK Champion, and the man known in Kent simply as The Guvnor – Martin Stone. The fearsome Stone, the long running Champion of IPW:UK and member of the Untouchables stable rules the ring in Kent and few can match up to his dominating techniques and frankly awesome London Bridge finishing hold. Together with his trusty cricket bat, Stone has held off possible challenges from the likes of Super Dragon, Andy Boy Simmonz, Jody Fleisch, Samoa Joe and many more, and come the 25th, he’s looking to wipe out both 3CW and NOAH teams – and indeed anyone else that stands in his way – in his way to victory!
ODD COUPLE AS DARKSIDE AND AISU ARE SELECTED FOR TEAM 3CW!
You read that right – the massively popular Darkside, having scored huge recent victories against international visitors Chad Collyer and Yoshinobu Kanemaru, has been selected to be one half of Team 3CW for the huge main event in Northallerton, but his tag team partner is a controversial one! Dragon Aisu of the Damned Nation will line up alongside Darkside, having been chosen for his proven track record and his iconic status as a former 4-time 3CW Champion rather than anything like his levels of fan support – something that is most certainly lacking for the former ICE XVII! That they’re more than capable is certain, but will the two manage to coexist in Northallerton? We’ll see on the night!
MEXICAN WELCOME FOR THE HOMETOWN TEAM!
The Unbreakables – Martin Kirby and EdEn – were no doubt thrilled to find that they were to be included on the first 3CW show in Northallerton, not in the least Kirby, who calls the areas surrounding Northallerton his home. They may be less thrilled, however to find that they’ll be facing the tough “Mexican Twin Brother” team of Tim and Mojo – Los Pervitos. Los Pervitos may occasionally play the clown in 3CW by they are no laughing matter, coming off the back of falling JUST short of claiming 3CW Tag Gold in North Ormesby. They’ll certainly be in no mood to go 0-2 for August, so rookie prodigy Kirby and the master of the hellavator, EdEn, best beware!
