IWF: Details For September 9th Show

Thanks to IWF for sending in:

IWF
Benwell Old Village Social Club, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne
Saturday 9th September
Entry £4 – Family4 £12
Belltime 7pm

IWF Champion YOUNGSTA will put his belt on the line against an opponent who is as yet unknown. Youngsta has raised the ire of IWF fans recently with an unprovoked assault on his brother and long time partner Shaun Avery. The two meet in Jarrow on Sept 16th in a Streetfight, however, if Youngsta is to get to that match with his championship reign intact, he will have to focus fully on this match. Who his opponent is may be unknown, but whoever it is will be determined to leave as IWF Champion.

SHAUN AVERY warms up for that match with a match against the much improved ‘SATANIC MESSIAH’ ADAM CHRIST. Christ also has an important match coming up against Tracy Smothers and will be determined to go into that match with a head of steam. He is known as a hardcore specialist, which will certainly help Avery get into Streetfight mode as preparation for the match against his brother.

JORDAN WRIGHT returns from three months away from the IWF (A punishment for losing a ladder match against his brother Joey) to team with LEE KYLE against WRIGHT STUFF 2000 (The team of his brother JOEY WRIGHT and ‘THE BIG MO’ BILLY MORRISON). Joey will certainly not be pleased to see his brother back and will be determined to end their feud once and for all.

IWF Ring of Faith Champion LIAM ‘THE PLAYER’ ATKINSON will defend his belt over six three minute rounds against ROBBIE RYDER. This will be Ryder’s first match under the rounds system and he will go into the match as the underdog. However, he has beaten men bigger than him before and will fancy his chances against the sneaky submission specialist Atkinson.

LOS PERVITOS have impressed many in their short time in the IWF, recently gaining their first win against the makeshift team of NICK DAMOCLES and JONNY HOGARTH. They will meet again on Sept 9th in two singles matches as Damocles steps into the ring with TIM and Hogarth meets MOJO. How the tag team specialists will fare without the option of tagging their partner is anyone’s guess.

‘BAD BOY’ JED MASTERS will be in attendance and is said to be very unhappy about not being granted a title shot against YOUNGSTA. Masters formed D-Unit with Youngsta and Shaun Avery three years ago and it is rumoured that, when he turned on them to break up the group, the IWF Champion refused to defend his belt against Masters.
