WWE: Official SmackDown Preview

Disorder in the Court?
October 13, 2006

The first episode of SmackDown following No Mercy is sure to feature plenty of drama as the dust continues to settle.

Friday night on SmackDown, viewers will witness the unbelieveable events that unfolded in a Triple Threat Match to become the No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Lashley, Finlay and Batista squared off for the right to challenge for King’s Booker’s gold at next week’s show. Wait until you see you who walks out of Jacksonville as the No. 1 contender. Also, SmackDown commentators Michael Cole and JBL will be joined on commentary by a very special guest.

Most Valuable Phony?
Instead of choosing a top tier Superstar to debut against, which would send a message to the SmackDown locker room, MVP took on Marty Garner at No Mercy. This Friday on SmackDown, MVP will make SmackDown in-ring debut.

Rey’s Revenge
In a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match filled with raw emotion and the desire for two former friends to end their bitter rivalry, Rey Mysterio got the pinfall over Chavo Guerrero. Will Chavo have anything to say about his loss at No Mercy? Will Chavo’s business manager, Vickie Guerrero, consult her client to bury the hatchet with Mysterio? Or does she have other plans?

The Rabid Wolverine’s Return
Chris Benoit made his long awaited return at No Mercy after taking a five month hiatus. Benoit looked solid in his first match back, defeating Sir Regal. What will the Rabid Wolverine have to say to the SmackDown locker room? Will he address the WWE fans regarding what he plans to do now that he’s returned full time to in-ring competition?

What will happen when SmackDown returns following an action packed No Mercy? Tune in on Friday night at 8/7 CT on the all-new CW Network.
