– Wrestle Zone Wrestling have announced that their Heavyweight Championship has been vacated, as their current champion US star Tracy Smothers is heading back to the States.
Tracy was expected to defend the title on October 6th against the man he beat for the belt Lance Thunder, but that show was cancelled, and Tracy’s UK tour finished yesterday.
A new champion will be crowned in a Steel Cage Ladder Match at their Saturday November 18th show, which will be held at Hartlepool’s Belle Vue Sports Centre. The wrestlers for the match will be revealed at their “Remembrance Day” show on November 11th in Whitley Bay.
– wZw have also announced that their Inter-Promotional Champion Carbon has been ruled out for at least the rest of the year, after rupturing his medial ligament in his right leg.
