UK Wrestling Promoters Band Together To Give The Fans A Christmas Present

UK wrestling promoters band together to give the fans a Christmas present like no other

Biggest Christmas gift ever given to UK wrestling fans
To celebrate Christmas in style RQW have pulled together with the top companies in the UK to give fans a wrestling gift like no other. On Saturday December 16th RQW will work together with the UK and Irelands top wrestling promotions to present a massive one night inter-promotional British Heavyweight title tournament taking place at the prestigious London venue, York Hall!

The 8 man knock out tournament will feature every wrestler being sent by their individual promotions to crown the Brand new RQW champion. This belt, formerly held by Robbie Brookside, will belong to UK wrestling and its fans, and can and will be defended in companies all over England. RQW has some major plans for the UK wrestling scene and promises that once these plans are finalised, the positive impact it intends to have on the UK scene, its promotions and its fans will be extremely large. RQW will be an organisation for the benefit of everybody involved in the UK scene and not to its detriment. Real Quality Wrestling is a concept NOT a wrestling promotion which is why so many, once rival, companies have now come together to be a part of what many are saying could be the biggest leap the UK wrestling scene has made since it was taken from our national TV in 1988.

So where’s the Christmas present?
This huge show, being recorded for SKY TV, will feature state of the art production and a selection of the top wrestling talent the UK has to offer. If this monumental event isn’t good enough to wet your appetite then the best is yet to come.
To show the fans RQW’s commitment to the British wrestling industry, tickets for this monster event are absolutely FREE!!

Companies already sending talent for the first two RQW events include:
1PW
IPW:UK
FWA
IWW
Premier Promotions
All Star Wrestling
NWA:UK Hammerlock
3CW
SAS
WZW
FWA:A
SUMMIT Wrestling
GPW
FSW

There has never been an offer off this kind for UK fans and RQW are proud to bring it to you as part of their new drive to finally unite the best UK, Scottish and Irish wrestling promotions every month under one umbrella. This will allow them to showcase their talents on a large and national scale with higher productions values than any past UK company can offer. RQW Chairman Len Davies is also the owner of Spectrum Multimedia and has equipment, knowledge and contacts unlike any other previously used to record and present UK wrestling. Many of the companies involved in this project feel that this could be the leap needed to bring the British wrestling industry back to the masses.

Fans who attend will also be able to get a chance to check out RQW’s production values by being able to purchase the debut York Hall event from November 11th 2006 at the special introductory price of just £4.99 for this four hour plus DVD.

RQW want UK fans to see just exactly what they are bringing to the table and have some incredible news going into 2007. This is going to be the start of something really big for the UK scene and RQW invite you to be a part of it from the opening bell.

British wrestling finds a new monthly home in London’s York Hall
The very best of British wrestling will now have a new home as Real Quality Wrestling (RQW) bring monthly shows to one of the Capitals most prestigious buildings. The legendary East London venue, York Hall in Bethnal Green, sees the rebirth of British wrestling action in its hallowed Halls. RQW will officially launch their very first monthly Extravaganza live on Saturday November 11th  2006.

This mega event will also be recorded for broadcast on SKY TV. This means that from November fans can join others in their support of the ever increasing UK scene both live and at home with RQW providing production qualities unlike any other UK based wrestling company past or present.

RQW receives major endorsement from the industry
Not just another uneducated start up company, RQW and it’s owner Len Davies has recently been endorsed by the man that last held wrestling at the York Hall and promoter of the biggest independent shows in UK history, Alex Shane. Shane recently quoted “Len Davies and RQW could very well be the missing link that has been needed to get UK wrestling back in the public eye. Their production values and financial backing etc means that this company not only has legs but the know how to do something with them. The ideas that they are putting into action will be so good for everyone already in the UK industry that this has actually led to all UK companies banding together once and for all. Promoters from Steven Gauntley (1PW) to Daniel Edler (IPW:UK) to John Freemantle (Premier promotions) to myself who are so different yet all bring something beneficial to UK wrestling are now working together to get the UK industry back on a national stage. This is really exciting.”

Arguably one of the UK’s most respected wrestler’s world wide, Doug Williams, said “I have never seen a company with so much technical know how, equipment and knowledge of production and media at their disposal. By combining this with the best of British wrestling, as they are intending to, this really could be THE Company to make a difference on the entire UK scene as we know it. RQW is here to work with people not against them and is more of a concept than a promotion as such, almost an umbrella that all UK wrestling can find comfort under. The next 6 months in British wrestling could be the most important in sometime.”

Daniel Edler of IPW:UK said “Len Davies has helped us so much recently to try and better what we do with his knowledge, equipment and passion for the UK industry. I think that his commitment to get British wrestling back to the mainstream will make these York Hall shows a must see for any fan of the UK business.

With such backing and belief from the industries top names fans are being urged to come to “Rebirth” the debut RQW York Hall event, to see what all the fuss is really about.
