Thanks to K-Star Wrestling for the following:
KSW begins the year with its annual King of the Ring tournament.
With the first rounds decided over Christmas, the King of the Ring begins from the second round, the drawn matches being:
Staxx vs. Brandon Thomas
Tyler Rayne vs. Nick Mace
Staxx eliminated himself from KOTR 2006 after using a chair to cripple Nick Mace, so no one has really seen if the 350lbs monster could go all the way bringing perhaps a tantalising final between him and Mace. However, Staxx will have to defeat the experienced wrestler Brandon Thomas. Brandon has faced a lot of opponents over his career and will be sure to have a gameplan against the bigger opponent.
Tyler Rayne has seen success since his turn to the ways of the Prophecy, more confident and much more arrogant, Tyler sees his opponent only as an obstacle, his opponent though is Nick Mace who has more experience than Tyler, though after the beating Nick took from Staxx, you can bet that Nick will have one eye on the curtain, perhaps giving Tyler the advantage.
Carl Mizzery takes on the masked wonder Kid Flash, who has managed to firmly become a crowd favorite by beating Staxx in an impressive match. Mizzery took on Flash at Christmas, only to lose by count out. With Mizzery’s sanity in question he has become more random with his actions, determined to beat Flash straight he has set his sights on humiliating the kid.
Also set to appear are new Tag Champs Franco and Cupid, Salvantes Hunter and Rob Long.
