IWF CHAMPIONSHIP
YOUNGSTA v ‘BAD BOY’ JED MASTERS

These two, members of D-Unit until Youngsta cost Masters and Shaun Avery the IWF Tag titles in June, clash in a grudge match with the IWF title on the line. Youngsta has been warned that, should he not turn up (As happened for his scheduled defence against Masters in November.) then he will be stripped of the belt. ‘Bad Boy’ has been training intensively for this match, which he considers the biggest of his career to date. It would be difficult enough to end the eighteen-month reign of the IWF Champion in any circumstances, but it will be doubly difficult for Masters as he will also be forced to defend the IWF Tag Team Championship earlier in the night.

IWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
D-UNIT (Shaun Avery & ‘Bad Boy’ Jed Masters)
V
THE TEAM WITH NO NAME (Flower Child & ‘Twisted Messiah’ Adam Christ)

A tough ask for Masters (Defending his IWF Tag belt on the same night as attempting to win the IWF tile) is made a little easier due to the experience of his partner 4-time IWF Tag Team Champ Shaun Avery, who has the know-how to shoulder the burden of finding a way to beat ‘The Team With No Name’. Nevertheless, the unusual team of Flower Child and Adam Christ have every reason to be confident in their own abilities, and, though possessing nowhere near the experience as a team of D-Unit, are capable of beating any team on their night,

‘J-BIRD’ JOEY WRIGHT and LEE KYLE pick each other’s opponent.

These two, whose long-running feud escalated in November when Wright cheated to knock Kyle out of the ‘Tournament of Faith’, were due to clash in a singles match until the ‘J-Bird’ appealed to IWF management and managed to get out of the match. Management agreed that, while Wright WOULD be forced to face Kyle at a later date, for now, his request to pick an opponent for Lee at IT’S ON!!! Would be granted…On the proviso that Kyle could also pick an opponent for Joey. Who will they choose? Find out on February 3rd.

IWF RING OF FAITH CHAMPIONSHIP JORDAN WRIGHT v ‘BIG MO’ BILLY MORRISON (w/ his ‘WAG’ LEXX)

Following his emotional victory in the Tournament of Faith, the popular Jordan Wright makes his first defence of the Ring of Faith title against old school specialist ‘Big Mo’ Billy Morrison. Morrison has been a thorn in Wright’s side throughout 2006, teaming with Wright’s brother Joey (As the Wright Stuff 2000) during Joey and Jordan’s long running feud. Wright would be the overwhelming favourite under normal circumstances, but, with the title being defended over 6 rounds of 3 minutes, Morrison’s experience in that environment gives him an advantage over Jordan for whom this is the first time competing under such rules. Billy also has the advantage of being accompanied to the ring by his ‘WAG’ Lexx, who is no stranger to getting physically involved in the action.

NICK DAMOCLES v ROBBIE RYDER

An interesting clash, as these two former teammates (As members of the ASBO’s in 2005) clash for the first time since the break up of that group. As a regular main-eventer, and at a dominating 6’4″ inches in height, Damocles is a an overwhelming favourite in this one, but Robbie Ryder has improved greatly as of late, reaching the semi-finals of the Tournament of Faith, and has a lot of experience wrestling men bigger than himself. As an interesting sidenote, these two have arguably the most devastating finishing manoeuvres in the IWF, Damocles with his Chokebreaker and Ryder with his ‘Down & Out’ Flipping DDT.

Debut of ‘BAD BAD’ LEROY BROWN

A mysterious individual, reports of him coming to IWF surfaced at www.sensationaliwf.piczo.com in November, and although nobody knows who he is, if he can come close to backing up his threats he will be a major destructive force in the IWF. He has let it be known he will be in Jarrow on February 3rd.

‘CHARVA MC’ PAULY C, the IWF Rookie of the Year 2006, will also be in attendance, hoping to add to his ever-growing reputation. He will be accompanied for the first time by his pal ‘Lil ra-ra’ CHRISSY B.

TIM PERVITO returns to the IWF on February 3rd, as this always-entertaining wrestler brings his marvellous brand of madcap tomfoolery back to Jarrow.
