Welcome to the latest news from Power Trip Wrestling. As we’ve documented before, our first show is entitled ‘Defiance’, and will be on Friday 2nd March 2007 from Luton Rugby Club, Luton, Bedfordshire, England. Here’s the latest news on the show.
NEWSFLASH!
The match known as the ‘New School vs Old School Challenge’, featuring Shabazz vs Keith Myatt; has now become a title match. Having spoken to TBW (Total Brutality Wrestling), for whom Shabazz is currently their Heavyweight Champion; Power Trip Wrestling has been given approval to stage the match as a championship bout for the TBW title! PTW takes an intense pride in it’s working relationships with other promotions, counting at least seven or more other companies that we currently work with in some shape or form. This will add another twist to what is already a highly anticipated match-up….
RISING TENSIONS
Jonny Storm has recently contacted the PTW office and speculated that he doesn’t feel Atom deserves a match with him. Atom reacted angrily to this, and said whilst he doesn’t yet have the name value comparable to Storm’s; he is extremely grateful for the opportunity to wrestle – both for Power Trip Wrestling and against the arrogant ‘Wonderkid’ and that he plans to take the chance with both hands, with his actions on the night speaking louder than words.
ADDITION TO PTW STAFF
PTW is very happy to announce that this week, it has added Dan Edge to it’s staff; and looks forward to his input and talents becoming a part of Power Trip Wrestling’s direction and future plans.
INTEREST
Here at the PTW office, we get a lot of enquiries about the show and possibly working for us. We’ve had interest from ex WWE and TNA stars, and many UK names have expressed a desire to compete for PTW also. One thing for sure, is at ‘Defiance’, there will be a lot of wrestlers and people in the business watching the show live; and it’s setting up to be the biggest wrestling show in Luton for years! We thank everyone for the attention given to us, and also for their support and belief in us.
