PTW: Latest Card For "Defiance" On March 2nd

Thanks to Power Trip Wrestling for sending the following in:

Welcome to the latest update on Power Trip Wrestling, and here’s the news from this week, and it’s been a loud one…..

NEW MATCH ANNOUNCED!
Power Trip Wrestling can now announce another match for March 2nd, and we’re very proud to have two of the hottest workers in the UK right now making their presence felt on our debut show ‘Defiance’. In another example of our working relationships with other companies, two main stars of 4FW – Dave Sharp and Ashton Brown – will do battle in what is sure to be a contender for ‘Match of the Night’! Both fans and wrestlers can’t wait to see this one, as Sharp and Brown bring their rivalry to Luton!

PTW CONTROVERSY
We’ve had a bit of a controversial week here at PTW, including a particular incident where certain wrestlers of a local wrestling promotion (and we use the term ‘wrestler’ loosely), thought it amusing to parody a PTW press release in a foulmouthed, immature, and abusive manner. Thankfully, everyone who has received this email understands the situation and it has had no effect. As for the company in question and the wrestlers behind the email; we’re quite amused that they think they’re our ‘competition’ and it speaks volumes of the level they’re sinking to; to attempt to damage our reputation. Whilst we know who’s responsible, we will not be naming names (for now); but do wish those concerned good luck in growing up.

FIRST TIME EVER (AND THE BAD FEELINGS BUILDING)….
A recent phone call to the PTW offices, confirmed what we already knew; the match between Shabazz and Keith Myatt is a first time ever. These two men have never met in the ring, but the heat is certainly rising for the match, with Keith Myatt stating that Shabazz needs ‘more respect for those who came before him’; and Shabazz feeling that this is the time for younger workers to be in the spotlight. With the TBW Heavyweight TItle on the line, this one is setting up to be explosive.

NEW POSTER
We have made a new poster for the show, due to the enforced cancellation of a priorly booked wrestler. Power Trip Wrestling wishes to state that we still plan to book the person in question in the future, and look forward to working with him then.

PTW JOINS MY SPACE
PTW is proud to say that our fanbase is already at a point where people want to help spread the word about the company. So whilst it isn’t run by PTW itself, please visit the officially approved My Space page for Power Trip Wrestling; at www.myspace.com/power_trip_wrestling and check it out!
