GPW: Details For "Collision Course" Show On July 20th

Thanks to Kevin for sending in the following:

Friday 20th July GPW are heading into the Monaco Ballroom on a Collision Course!

In our final show of the first half of the season, all 3 titles are on the line in what will be our most action packed event of 2007 – GPW: "Collision Course". In addition to the fate of the GPW British, Tag Team and Heavyweight titles to be decided there will also be a womens match, a 2/3 Falls, the return of Darkside, Alan A.A Tasker and more!

Here is a run down of the matches at GPW: "Collision Course":

2/3 Falls
Johnny Phere vs. Si Valour

A feud that has had you guessing at every turn. Valour, the man responsible for ending the "Year Of Phere" prematurely yet again embarrassed Phere last month by pinning him in his "Johnny Phere 5 Minute Challenge". Phere, at his wits end and at a loss how to beat the newcomer has accepted Valours proposal of getting 3 chances in 1 night in a GPW first 2/3 Falls match. Valour has proved he has the better of Phere in 5 minutes of a match, but what about over a 2/3 Falls? Will the veteran Phere be able to counter the hugely popular Si Valour from another win over the Psychotic Warrior??

GPW Tag Team Title Match – Tables / Chairs / Hubcaps
WKD (c) vs. Mil-Anfield Connection

Following the kidnapping of Roxi last month, The Mil-Anfield Connection got the attention of champions WKD. Holding Roxi hostage and forcing them into a title defence both "The Model" Danny Hope and Jiggy Walker have finally got what they’ve wanted since January, a re-match. The titles will be contested in a first ever "Tables, Chairs & Hubcaps Match" WKD have a tremendous amount of momentum and fan support behind them, but can they overcome their biggest and most brutal challenge yet??

Womans Match
Kelly Adams vs. Roxi

After their match last month was cut short due to the Mil-Anfield interference that lead to Roxi being held hostage, Kelly Adams and Roxi will now both face off once again to not only determine which one of these females is the toughest, but to settle a personal score. With fan support solidly behind Roxi, can new comer Kelly Adams cause an upset against one of GPWs most popular competitors??

GPW Heavyweight Title Match
Dirk Feelgood © vs. Juice

Champion Dirk Feelgood has accepted a challenge from a member of SIN who he has never faced – Juice. Both men are coming hot off the heels of huge wins against Mark Kodiak and El Ligero in two very physical feuds. Juice stepped up to another level after he defeated veteran El Ligero, and Feelgood proved he is no pushover as Champ by defeating the monster Dutchman, Mark Kodiak. With Juice drawing accolades from across Europe as the "one to watch" and Dirk cementing his position at the top of the GPW tree, this match will surely be a classic.

Main Event: GPW British Title Match
"Dangerous" Damon Leigh (c) vs. Joseph Hayes vs. Heresy

If the story developing between these three hasn’t got you on the edge of your seat – nothing will. Both members of SIN challenge British Champion – "Dangerous" Damon Leigh to his GPW British Title in a 3-way. Simple? Following last months friction between Hayes and Heresy – it is far from simple. Hayes, already the No.1 Contender for the title has been muscled out of his one on one shot by SIN leader Heresy. Heresy and DDL have a history dating back years, and after DDLs refusal to join SIN this hatred for one another has been brought right back to the forefront. All 3 of these competitors have been with GPW since the very start, and with tension between all 3 at an all time high you simply cannot miss this match.

Bubblegum vs. Darkside

After overcoming the huge Juggernaught last month, Bubblegum now turns his attentions to the man who turned his back on the fans – Darkside. Darkside sucker punched Bubblegums best friend Dirk Feelgood 2 months ago. After being eliminated from the "Only The Strong Survive" match Darkside retreated back into the shadows as he knew he would be a wanted man by many on the roster. Bubblegum was quick to lay down a challenge to the former fan favourite which he has been accepted. Very bad blood lies between these two, this wont be for the feint hearted.

And also….

Mike Holmes vs. Dom Travis

The clean cut Dom Travis takes on the dirty, smoking, drinking, dole queuing lay about – Mike Holmes. If ever there was a contrast – it’s right here. Alan A.A Taskers man, Mike Holmes has enjoyed singles success since aligning himself with Tasker, but will this success be short lived as he takes on the man who has never submitted and has only been pinned once this year??

The doors at the Monaco Ballroom will be opening at 7pm with the show starting at 7:30. Tickets are £6 per person or £20 for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children under 12). Balcony seating is available for £10 per person or £36 for a family of 4.
