This PTW press release is written at a time when Luton Town FC, the football team that PTW Owner Peter Staniforth has supported since childhood; has gone into administration with huge financial problems and a 10 point deduction in the League itself. Despite having PTW to run, Peter is openly encouraging all Luton fans to stand by the club and support them in our time of need. Many at Power Trip Wrestling are huge fans of LTFC, and are devastated at the news and events of the past week; and are hoping and praying for things to sort out at the club.
Back to wrestling, though…. It’s time for Power Trip Wrestling’s last show of the year, on December 1st, entitled "BulletProof", and it will be aptly in our home town of Luton; and here’s the details on the show.
The huge news, of course, is that PTW Owner Peter Staniforth has stripped Gangster of the PTW Heavyweight Championship, for refusing to defend it against a ‘mystery opponent’ at PTW ‘Fearless’ on Sat 17th November in Stevenage. Gangster felt this was unfair and a breach of contract, but Peter considered this unsuitable behaviour for a champion, disrespectful to the PTW fans; and has vacated the title.
This unfortunate set of circumstances leads us to Luton on December 1st, where we will have a match to decide the new champion!
