WWE looks to be taping their annual "Tribute to the Troops" special either at the end of this week or next weekend. WWE won’t make an official announcement about the event due to safety reasons.
It should be noted that in previous years, WWE stars traveled on a cargo plane from the army base in North Charleston, North Carolina to the Middle East to tape the specials. RAW is being held tonight in North Charleston with no RAW events planned for the weekend.
I’d guess they leave tomorrow or Wednesday. Maybe even this weekend.
The special will air on Christmas Eve (December 24) at 9/8c on USA. That week’s ECW and SmackDown! will be "Best Of" shows.
