WWE Spoilers: Final Armageddon Card

As it is unlikely that WWE will add a match this close to the pay-per-view, it’s safe to assume that the current Armageddon card is the final one for the pay-per-view on Sunday. I will post the results here on W101 after Armageddon has concluded. Here is the final card for Armageddon (This Sunday, December 16, from the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, PA):

  • WWE Championship: Randy Orton (c) Vs. Chris Jericho
  • World Heavyweight Championship: Triple Threat: Batista (c) Vs. Edge Vs. The Undertaker
  • United States Championship: MVP (c) Vs. Rey Mysterio
  • #1 Contender’s Match for a WWE Title Shot at the 2008 Royal Rumble: Triple H Vs. Jeff Hardy
  • CM Punk (ECW) & Kane (SmackDown!) Vs. Big Daddy V (ECW) & Mark Henry (SmackDown!)
  • Shawn Michaels Vs. Mr. Kennedy
  • Finlay Vs. The Great Khali
  • Women’s Championship: Beth Phoenix (c) Vs. Mickie James

Also, just a couple notes for anyone curious about the post-Armageddon shows: RAW will be live on December 17 from the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY (Beth Phoenix’s Hometown); Nothing is confirmed for RAW, but odds are, matches and/or events will be added Monday Afternoon. ECW will be live on December 18 from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY; Nothing is confirmed for ECW either, but it will likely be announced Monday Evening (typically during RAW). SmackDown! will be taped on December 18 and will air on December 21 from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY; Ric Flair is confirmed to wrestle on the show in his second "retirement match", where he must win to keep his career going. It’s also been speculated that the date between Jamie Noble & Michelle McCool will take place during this edition of SmackDown. It’s undetermined whether the date will be taped to show on SmackDown or if they will do like they did with the Kelly Kelly and Balls Mahoney date and just tell people it happened.

These will be the last TV tapings until Saturday, December 29 where WWE will be taping RAW from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC for their New Year’s Eve Show. The Christmas Eve Edition of RAW will be WWE’s Fifth Annual Tribute To The Troops, which they taped in Iraq about a week ago. SmackDown! for December 28 has been confirmed to be a "Best of 2007" edition and it is assumed that the Christmas Day Edition of ECW will be something similar.
