WWE RAW was live from the Mohegan Sun Arena & Casino in Uncasville, CT on January 7, 2008. The entire night was determined by RAW Roulette, which for the uninformed means that there is a wheel (in this case) in the office/locker room of Mr. McMahon, the wheel will be spun and there are a number of different match styles and stipulations for the wheel to randomly land on. Whatever the wheel lands on will be the type of match the competitors will wrestle in. Check the end of this report for descriptions of the matches that took place.

- Strange Bedfellows Match: Shawn Michaels & Mr. Kennedy def. Charlie Haas & Trevor Murdoch by Mr. Kennedy pinning Charlie Haas following Sweet Chin Music by Shawn Michaels.
- Trading Places Match: Hardcore Holly def. Carlito by pin following the Alabama Slam.
- Divas Lingerie Pillow Fight: Ashley (in her WWE Return) def. Melina, Jillian, Maria, & Mickie James by pinning Jillian following a flying elbow drop.
- First Blood Match: Triple H def. William Regal via several straight shots to the head with Triple H’s taped right hand.
- 2-on-1 Handicap Match: Chris Jericho def. JBL & Snitsky by DQ when JBL hits Chris Jericho with the ring bell.
- Mr. McMahon’s Choice: Royal Rumble Qualifying Tag Match: Hornswoggle & Mick Foley def. The Highlanders by Hornswoggle pinning Robbie McAllister following the Tadpole Splash to earn themselves two spots in the 2008 Royal Rumble Match.
- Steel Cage Match: Non-Title: Jeff Hardy def. Umaga by pin following the Whisper In The Wind off of the top of the cage.

Strange Bedfellows Match- This unique style of match forces two rivals to face off against two rivals (IE: Michaels & Kennedy Vs. Haas & Murdoch) in a tag team match.
Trading Places Match- The competitors in the match will enter and compete dressed as their opponent.
Divas Lingerie Pillow Fight- Obviously, it is a Pillow Fight featuring Divas in Lingerie. The match ends by pin or submission.
First Blood Match- The first competitor to draw blood from their opponent is the winner. No pin, submission, DQ, or Count-Out.
Steel Cage Match- Win by pin, submission, or escaping the cage with both feet touching the floor. No DQ or Count-Out.
To correct a flawed report presented by WrestleZone.com, Shannon Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang did NOT qualify for the Royal Rumble Match. It was "The Miz" & John Morrison who qualified.
