– The Tampa Bay Tribune is reporting that WWE developmental Superstar Ted DiBiase Jr. was arrested in South Tampa early this morning and charged with driving under the influence. Police took DiBiase into custody about 3:30 AM after a crash on South West Shore Boulevard at Browning Avenue.
Police said DiBiase was in a Cadillac SUV that crashed into another vehicle. No one was seriously injured and no one required hospitalization. DiBiase had alcohol on his breath, his speech was slurred, eyes bloodshot and glassy and he was unsteady on his feet, according to police. DiBiase was asked to perform a field sobriety test and has "indications of impairment." DiBiase submitted to the breath test and results on two tests were 0.137 and 0.138. Florida law presumes a driver to be impaired with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 or higher.
WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase Sr. was reached for comment at his home this morning but declined, saying he had not heard of the arrest yet. Police records state that DiBiase Jr. was taken to the Orient Road Jail and his bail was set at $500.
