Welcome back to the interactive UK Scene with your friendly neighbourhood Saz.

With some great wrestling this weekend, British wrestling fans got to see some of the cream of the crop.

What we do care about in all aspects of the UK Scene is your opinion, especially the paying punter, so if you have a say you are more than welcome to express it, whether it is a popular opinion or not.

PTW Yearbook announcement

The Official Power Trip Wrestling Book

Since late 2007, Power Trip Wrestling has been working to produce an official book. This book is a pictorial record of their exploits in 2007 – with biographies of some of the top PTW wrestlers and lots more.

If you would like to buy a copy or preview the first few pages of the book then go to www.blurb.com and in the bookstore search for Power Trip Wrestling.

The book is available in soft back (£8.95) and hard back (£12.95).

Iron Sheik coming to 1PW

Finally, some interesting booking from 1PW!!!

Lastly for today, a truly shocking and controversial announcement — signed and sealed to appear at Know Your Enemy, one of the most controversial figures in the entire Pro Wrestling world, former WWF Champion and WWE Hall of Famer THE IRON SHEIK will be at Know Your Enemy, and we are going to give him a live microphone !

The truly Legendary Iron Sheik will be participating in a very special “ Up Close with the Iron Sheik “ Q & A and Meet & Greet Session on the afternoon of April 19th ( details forthcoming ) and will also appear on the evening’s card.

So one of wrestling’s most controversial figures comes to Europes most controversial wrestling promotion …. is anyone safe from being made humble ? Your guess is as good as ours.

I have to congratulate 1PW on picking up on the obvious interest in the Sheik at the moment and exploiting it as a draw. Great booking!

3CW Stevie Lynn vs Vincent D. White

After suffering somewhat of a minor upset at the hands of the debuting Joseph Hayes at Free For All 5, the multiple-time former 3CW Champion Stevie Lynn looks to regain his winning ways. However standing in his way is the monstrous Vincent D. White. The last time that the Southlands Centre witnessed White, he debuted his new Cobra Clutch Lock and choked out 3 members of The Kraze! Lynn has always been a man who can claim he is ‘Unbreakable’, but after perhaps a small dent in confidence after the loss to Hayes, White may hold both the power AND the psychological advantage in this one!

LPW Gang* v Quentin Hyde Styles

The it boy takes on the returning Gang*. Gang* returns from a 4 month retirement after losing focus after his time in Chav nation came to an end and he choose to leave wrestling and concentrate on martial arts and other interests. But contacted LPW management after realising Gabriel Grey was phoenix city champion and the continued rise of the Boss and the firm. Here he meets QHS who is actually banned from LPW but continually finds loopholes to appear.
