**At the start of the show, RAW General Manager William Regal announced an idea called "Triple Threat Takeover" where for the next three weeks, one of the three competitors in the WrestleMania Triple Threat Match would be in charge of themselves and the other two wrestlers. This week, John Cena was drawn at "random" and opted to put himself in a match against Mr. Kennedy and pit Randy Orton against Triple H in a non-title match. Next week, either Orton or Triple H will be in charge.
It was announced during RAW that next week’s RAW from Milwaukee, WI will be a special 3-hour WrestleMania Rewind RAW where all the matches on the card will be rematches from past WrestleManias. Superstars from all three brands will be there. The official weigh-in for Big Show Vs. Mayweather will take place. RAW will start an hour early at 8/7c for the 3-hour show.
It was also announced on RAW that the BunnyMania Match between the teams of Maria & Candice and Melina & Beth Phoenix will be a Lumberjack Match and that legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg, will be the "Master of Ceremonies" for the match.
Also, it was confirmed that JBL will go one-on-one with Finlay at WrestleMania XXIV.
Mae Young was announced as the next inductee in the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame.
