Due to the ending of the WWE Tag Team Title Match, the WWE Tag Team Titles will be on the line again next week on ECW when The Miz & John Morrison defend their titles against Tommy Dreamer & Colin Delane; this time in an Extreme Rules Match. SmackDown’s Jesse & Festus are scheduled to challenged Miz & Morrison for the same titles on SmackDown, so either WWE is looking past that and basically saying Miz & Morrison will retain, or they will be going in a unique direction with this angle.
During Kane’s match with James Curtis, Chuck Palumbo drove slowly around the ring and revved his motorcycle in an attempt to distract Kane. It was revealed that Kane will face Chuck Palumbo on SmackDown, in addition to MVP defending the United States Title against Batista and the afore mentioned WWE Tag Title Match.
It’s also interesting to note, that as of this article, no SmackDown Superstar has been added to the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match. Expect that to be rectified in the coming weeks. If WWE plans to have SmackDown involvement in the match, it looks like the final three participants will be from SmackDown.
