Contrary to some reports circulating online, MyNetworkTV is actually available in HD, so when SmackDown moves to the network this fall, SmackDown will still be available in HD — at least to people who get their HD channel. When MyNetworkTV initially launched in Sept. 2006, some of their soap operas were broadcast in HD. However, the soap operas garnered low ratings and they turned to cheap filler shows & old movies instead, all of which isn’t broadcast in HD. So to clarify, they have an HD channel, they just rarely use it. Check your local listings to see if you get the HD channel. Most Comcast subscribers should have it.
