Following a confontation at the Official Weigh-In for Big Show Vs. Mayweather at WrestleMania XXIV, Show threw Mayweather over the top rope onto some WWE Superstars posing as Big Show’s "posse" (to rival Mayweather’s). Mayweather injured his elbow in this move. It’s currently unknown if this is a work or not, but stay tuned for more. Shane McMahon also got shoved down on the steel rampway.
It was confirmed on RAW that the match at WrestleMania between JBL and Finlay will now be a Belfast Brawl. Which is the same as a Street Fight. No DQ and No Count-Out. The only ways to win are by pinfall or submission.
It was also confirmed on RAW that The Brisco Brothers (Jack & Jerry Brisco) will be inducted into the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame. On a side note, Mike Adamle introduced the clip for the Briscos, but could be heard coughing in between words.
Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Mike Rotundo, & Barry Windham all made appearances in what was supposed to be a rematch from WrestleMania I (The U.S. Express Vs. The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff). Jillian Hall interrupted and attempted to sing "Born In The USA" and got the Airplane Spin from Rotundo. The match never got underway, though Volkoff was given time to sing the Russian National Anthem and Sheik got to rant about something.
It was confirmed on RAW that, not only will Triple H be in charge of Cena, Orton, & Himself, but he made a very unique main event for next week’s RAW from the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA. It will be John Cena & Randy Orton (as a tag team) taking on the Entire RAW Roster! It is unknown whether this will be some sort of Tag Team Gauntlet Match or a Battle Royal or what, but it is certainly interesting news.
