WrestleZone’s Latest Screw Up- First Edition

It’s always amused me how WrestleZone.com is the second most popular wrestling site on the internet (second to WWE.com), but yet they screw up so often and misinform everyone so frequently. It’s really sad that they don’t have any sense (or spell check or anything of the sort). That’s just the tip of the iceberg with this sad excuse of a site. I will post an article of theirs here anytime they screw up.

The latest one is an article that was posted yesterday regarding the last time World Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly defended those titles. Let’s start with the headline to the article. It reads:

Last Time Hardy/Rhodes Defended The Tag Titles

The champions are obviously Holly & Rhodes not Hardy & Rhodes, unless they was at a recent house show where Matt Hardy miraculously took the place of Hardcore Holly and is now one of the tag champions. Those wrestler’s names that begin in "H" can be tricky.

Here is the article itself:

In case you haven’t noticed, and many apparently haven’t, Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes haven’t defended their WWE World Tag Team Championships on television in about four and a half months. The last time they defended the belts on television was the night after Armageddon on December 17, 1007 when they defeated Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch in their lone title defense. Of course, Holly & Rhodes have wrestled tag matches on Raw since then, but they’ve all been non-title matches.

Wow, they haven’t been defended since December 17, 1007? I knew Hardcore Holly was old, but not that old. That’s got to be a record in a couple of ways. It’s been 1,001 years since Holly & Rhodes defended the World Tag Team Titles? That’s amazing! They must have a time machine or something.
