WWE held its press conference at the STAPLES Center at Noon PST today in
Los Angeles, CA., with Vince McMahon, Triple H, John Cena, Maria, Gabe Karp
– Executive Vice President and General Counsel – from ePrize and Chris
McCumber from USA Network. While a "blockbuster announcement" was promised,
nothing to that degree was ever announced as the details they gave out
regarding the McMahon Million Dollar Mania was already public knowledge.
Cena, Triple H, Maria and McMahon talked to the crowd and so did the two
other executives. McMahon took on a few questions from members of the media
afterwards. ePrize will be handling this promotion and according to the
rules, registration takes place up until June 9th at 10:45PM and every week
a code will be given at the start of RAW and on WWE.COM. As far as money
goes, one grand prize of $250,000 will be awarded, two fans will get
$200,000, one will get $125,000, one will get $98,000, one will get $75,000,
one will get $51,998 and some unlucky dude will get a whopping $2 – yes, two
dollars – that round up the million dollar giveaway. All prizes will be
