*In this match, whoever got the win would go on to face CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam, but if CM Punk won then neither would get the title match. Right before the match, new RAW General Manager Mike Adamle announced that there would be a 10 Minute Time Limit for the match, and if the time expired, then it would be a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam for the World Title between champion Punk, Jericho, & JBL. With JBL’s "win", he will face Punk one-on-one for the title at SummerSlam.
Adamle announced on RAW that, at SummerSlam, Kofi Kingston & Mickie James will team up to take on Santino Marella & Beth Phoenix in a "Winners Take All" match for both the Intercontinental & Women’s Titles.
In a live interview on RAW, Shawn Michaels announced that he will be at SummerSlam to update his medical condition and announce if he will continue his WWE Career or if he will "walk away".
