WWE.com has announced that the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI will host the 2009 Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 25, 2009. A commercial was shot in Chicago when WWE was there for RAW last. It led many to believe it would be in Chicago, but now WWE has confirmed the location. They may use the Chicago commercial for Detroit.
